The Principal search for the 2019-2020 school year will begin this week.

Below are the desired qualifications for the candidate:

• Must commit to serve a minimum of one school year
• Have served as a member on the Administration or the Parent Council (PTA) for at least one year with proven leadership skills and the ability to work with others.

To apply, please email your name, qualifications and a personal statement to boardofhxnyc@gmail.com by 3/31. Candidates will be required to give a presentation to the Board at the open board meeting.

The search committee consists of the entire Board of Directors. The Board will review candidates’ applications, conduct interviews and verify references. Upon completion of the search and under the monitoring of the Parent Council, the Board will vote on and appoint the 2019-2020 Principal by 4/14.
